Established by National Council of Science Museums affiliated to Government of India’s Ministry of Culture segment, Dharwad Regional Science Center will really boost the advent of science and technology in this region with its Science Park, science exhibits which run throughout the year along with a series of events and programmes.
Spread across an area of 4000 square meters, Dharwad Regional Science Center has 3 exhibit wings which are Fun Science Gallery, Science and Technological Heritage Gallery and Biomachines Gallery. The other sections of the science museum comprises of a science demonstration lecture theatre, children’s activity zone, an auditorium, a 3 dimensional theatre, library and conference hall, a dome shaped planetarium, exhibition zone apart from the 3 wings. The science museum organizes interactive and educational sessions with students from classes 1 to 10. A visit to the science museum is must on a trip to Dharwad.
